D.V. College
of Pharmacy, Tigaon is located in the lush green
area away from the fret and fury and madding crowds
of cities in a salubrious, simple, clean & healthy
and education friendly-environment congenial for
concerted and fruitful educational activities .
The college is situated on the Tigaon Road at a
distance of 10 Kms. from Faridabad city and 8 Kms.
from Ballbagarh. General transport facilities are
available from both terminals. It is convenient
for students from adjoining areas and is a preferred
institution for 2 year Diploma course in Pharmacy
for students hailing from even NCR region. Besides,
it is the oldest Pharmacy college in district Faridabad
catering to students of the area aspiring for this
course.
It was established in 1992 under
the banner & Management of Dehat Vikas Educational
society (established in 1989) by a great visionary
& philanthropies Late Sh. Om Dev Nagar, who
sincerely repaid his obligation to this native village
& surrounding rural area of Tigaon by making
it vibrate with educational activities for he rightly
saw rural uplift possible only by making educational
facilities available to ruralities at their doorstep
at very affordable expense. The people of the area
very often & thankfully remember him as the
pioneer of educational facilities for quality school
education upto 10+2 level, in S.D. Public Senior
Secondary School Tigaon, for D.Pharma Course of
this college, and for B.Ed., D.Ed and M.ed. Course
at Shiv College of Education, Tigaon. Each of these
three institutions has a separate infrastructure
of its own as per norms of the concerned regulatory
authorities.
All these three institutions are
presently managed by the Dehat Vikas Educational
Society, Tigaon, (Faridabad) under the active leadership
of a young, dynamic & farsighted President,
Sh. Vinod Nagar.

has successfully run this exclusive D.Pharma Course
since 1992 & so far has produced more than 15
batches of successful diploma holders of pharmacy
course. All our diploma holders are well placed
either in pharmaceutical & allied industries
in production or in marketing or they are fruitfully
settled in their own business as chemists.
Having a spacious building situated in a green &
pollution-free environment with an infrastructure
of more than the required norms of AICTE & PCI
in terms of well equipped laboratories, rich library,
spacious class rooms, the college has almost all
the facilities congenial for all stakeholders-teachers,
taught and other employees. Provision of new &
latest facilities is a regular feature for the institute.
The institute is under the administrative control
of Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana,
Chandigarh & adheres to all norms, condition
& instructions of the regulatory authorities
viz – AICTE & PCI for the D.Pharma course. The
State Board of Technical Education Haryana, Chandigarh
is the examining body for the course being conducted
